Well, today is the day I pledged to start writing. After a busy winter during which I did nothing with this site, it's time to get this thing in gear. Unfortunately, I spent most of my allotted time today ironing out some structural wrinkles on the site, so this is just a placeholder to mark the date I began a systematic approach to adding content to this site. This is me, shifting into first and letting out the clutch....
